It is designed with superior lumbar support to protect your back, keeps bubs' hips in a healthy “M” position and gives you four versatile carrying options - from newborn cuddles to toddler adventures. With handy pockets for all your essentials, it’s built for quick trips, long walks, and everything in between.

How do I use the Baby Hip Carrier?
1. Wrap the carrier around the smallest part of your waist (above your hips) and secure the velcro belt
2. Buckle the clip and pull the strap to tighten
3. Check the seat is level, flat with the anti-slip side facing up
4. Store all your essentials in the side pockets for on-the-go
5. Place bub on the seat with legs in the “M” position (knees higher than hips) and enjoy the snuggles!
Always keep an arm around your baby for safety. This is not a hands-free carrier.
How many ways can I wear this?
This Baby Carrier offers four carrying positions to grow with your baby's changing needs:

What is the maximum carrying capacity?
Birth up to 3 years, maximum 15kgs.
What waist size does it fit and can I buy an extender?
The SafeBub™ Baby Hip Carrier is designed to be worn snug and high, around the smallest part of your waist (above your hips). It fits waist sizes 58cm to 115cm, approximately AUS sizes 6 - 18.

What fabric is the Baby Hip Carrier made from?
The SafeBub™ Baby Hip Carrier is made from 100% polyester, making it durable, lightweight and perfect for quickly wiping away messes and spills.
Is this machine washable?
Yes! Simply unzip to remove the insert. Fasten velcro, close the buckle then pop in the wash on a cold, gentle cycle. Line dry only - do not tumble dry.
Is this safe for my baby's hips?
This Baby Hip Carrier supports healthy hip positioning by ensuring your baby's hips are in the recommended "M" position.
Is this safe for my newborn?
Yes - the SafeBub™ Baby Hip Carrier can be used safely from birth, when worn in the newborn/feeding position. This position keeps bub supported whilst soothing and/or breastfeeding.
For safety, always keep one arm around your newborn, ensure their face is visible, and their chin is off their chest to keep airways clear.
Is this a hands-free baby carrier?
No - the SafeBub™ Baby Hip Carrier is not a hands-free carrier. It’s designed to support your baby’s weight and protect your back, but you must always keep one arm around your baby for safety.
Can I sit while wearing the Baby Hip Carrier?
Yes - you can rest or sit while wearing the SafeBub™ Baby Hip Carrier. Just ensure bub stays in the correct “M” position (knees higher than hips) for healthy hip support.
For longer periods of sitting, we recommend taking bub off the seat so you’re both comfortable.
What are some precautions I should use when using this Baby Hip Carrier?
TO PREVENT FALLS AND INJURY:
- Only use for children up to 36 months
- Secure velcro belt, the one-click buckle and tighten the strap
- Keep arm around child at all times
DO NOT USE:
- While cooking or cleaning
- With impaired balance or mobility
- While under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medication
- In vehicle
BEFORE USE:
- Inspect hip carrier carefully. If damaged in any way, do not use
- If pregnant, consult your doctor before using
DURING USE:
- Face child towards you until they can hold head upright
- Keep one arm around child at ALL times
- Only use while stationary or carefully walking
- Do not walk while feeding infant. Only feed while sitting
- Your balance may be affected, use care when leaning. Never bend at waist, bend at knees
